Dominator Velcro

Had the same problem with an older pair of Sidis (velcro strip was also
peeling up off one of the straps) and I just took it to the local shoe
repair joint I found in the yellow pages. I actually felt bad the guy
re-sewed it for me in less than 5 minutes while I was waiting and
charged me only a couple bucks (less than a fancy coffee) to essentially
double the lifespan of a $200 pair of shoes. Such a good deal, I dunno
how they stay in business...

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Dominator Velcro

Had the velcro on my dominators peal off this season- sewed new 1"
velcro in its place with the Juki at work...Looking at how it was
attached, my guess would be that you could probably hit the strap w/ the
worn velcro with a heat gun and soften the glue pretty easily and peal
off the bad velcro. Then either reglue, or sew on new velcro.
