Hey, Melissa and I have been good-naturedly joking about this all year long.? I'd say the two of us would tie on this one.? If you have to go out and do a race in every single category to win, it gets crazy.? There's a lot of number crunching that has to be done, and Melissa was much too kind in keeping me up to speed on just what I had to do to stay ahead.??My big take away is that I overcame my fear of mud.

I don't mean to sound like a grundy, but the "point whore" name
seems
vulgar and demeaning, to me. Ladies will sometimes use that term
jokingly amongst ourselves. But in general company it doesn't sound
funny to me any more. "Point Pig" isn't as bad but maybe someone
can do
better? Since these are meant as good natured, maybe there is a more
good-natured title that it could be called.
Bet ya get more nominations that way.

2. Most unlucky rider award- crashes/mechanicals etc.
3. OTB award- best off the back/DFL story(ies)
4. Bar Whoor/Point Pig award
5. Sandbagger award
6. Best racing story award
7. Official most likely to DQ you award
8. Funniest OBRA Chat posting award
9. Best photo of the year award.
10. Worst number placement award.
11. Biggest fan award.
If you would like to make a nomination-
Please list the nominee's name and the reason they deserve it. It is
always best accompanied by a story and pictures for maximum enjoyment/
good natured embarrassment/fun. Please submit by December 17 so we
can choose the finalists!
We will be choosing/finding/salvaging some interesting items for these
awards.
