In Portland, Rose City Textiles on NW Nicolai has a good selection of cycling fabrics and "findings" and if they don't have it, they can tell you who does.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Fabric Sources? - cycling apparel

Anyone work in the apparel industry on list? I'm looking for any good local/regional sources for outdoor/cycling specific fabrics like WindTex and Super Roubaix (or similar). Also things like sew-on reflective piping and ribbon tape made by 3M. Maybe there is a good online source? Due to the smaller quantities I'd be looking for, it's likely that a wholesale supplier would not work for me. Maybe I am wrong.

Thanks much if you have info. Please reply off list.

Chris
