I am reaching out to members current and non current. I want to touch base with you as I need help from a few of you.....I have processed 1811 memberships and out of those I have gotten around 18 back in the mail due to undeliverable so if you have not received your membership materials yet and believe you should have send me an email to membership@obra.org and I will check if yours is one of them. I am hoping for a response here because I have sent emails to the memberships I have received back with no response.

#2 For the quickest turn around on your membership please try and sign up online. This does 2 things.......your signed up right away with OBRA and I do not have to hire a writing specialist to make out some of the hand writing.

#3 When you do sign up please make sure you check your mailing address. Lot of the returns I have gotten are because the forwarding has been shut off from the post office after a move.

Just to let you know our online membership ordering system is showing
licenses for 2014. Not to worry- they're for 2013. We're waiting for
the bug to get fixed. You can still order- it'll be fixed to show
2013 so no worries.

If you signed up via sign-me up, you should have already received a
similar message.

We anticipate mailing out memberships this coming Saturday. Our
numbers supplier moved their plant operations in December- and our
numbers were delayed. Thus, we are delayed one week from last year.
(mailed out on the 15th in 2008).

If you have some spare time this Saturday and would like to help us,
please e-mail me. We are looking for some OBRA folks to help us stuff
envelopes with memberships. (and these special helpers will be
rewarded with pizza, beverages and their race numbers). This activity
will happen in Portland.
