The Kettlebell is a cast iron or steel weight that resembles a cannon ball with a handle. Although they have been used for centuries in Eastern Europe, they are fairly new to North America. Introduced in early 2001 by Pavel Tsatsouline & Dragon Door Publications, Inc. Kettlebell training is becoming the hottest new fitness trend in America.
One of the keys to Kettlebell training is the ability to gain fitness at any level, in the most efficient manner, through muscle integration, not isolation. Incorporating functional movement patterns that take you through a full range of motion in a safe workout with the proper balance of high intensity & recovery.
In the Kettlebell Workshop, you will learn how to safely and properly execute all of the fundamental Kettlebell exercises so you will feel comfortable performing the exercises in the Kettlebell Workout group classes.
