come on no really cares. if you break the law, and have an attitude about it, then you need to expect comments from people. either let it roll off your shoulders and move on, cool down and forget about it, or if you can't handle it then don't break the law or don't cop an attitude or both.

Dear Mr. White Ford F-150,
Although you identified yourself as "a cyclist, asshole" as you yelled from the window of your car this morning, I still doubt you are on the OBRA list. Why? Well, because most cyclists would probably sympathize with trying to ride through an inch of snow, being side-swiped by every car that passed on SE 12th, and feeling the need to bend the law to get down to Eastbank Esplanade. Did I break the law? Yes. I did. I felt like it was a fair breakage, however. There were no cars on the street, and I had a sidewalk to hop onto if I enbded up head-to-head with someone for that half a block of one-way. Actually, now that I think of it, my manuever only caused one traffic hiccup....You, slowing traffic on Division to yell from your truck window. How did it go again? Oh yes:
You - "HEY THAT SAYS DO NOOOOT ENTERRR!"
Me - "GREAT!" (thumbs up)
You - "I'M A CYCLISTS TOO, AxxHOLE!"
Me - "OKAY!"
Yea, you called me an axxhole. Although, I'll forgive you. I mean, you were totally looking out for my safety. Let's just call it even. I'm a law-breaker and you're a prick, we're a odd couple aren't we. Sounds like a good premise for a new show on FX. I can hear the jingle now.
Thanks,
Max
P.S. Before I get an inbox full of, "you need to obey the law to represent cyclists in a good manner," please realize I was in a dangerous situation just trying to get a safer route. I don't run reds and stops and hop sidewalks every time I ride. However, just like when I drive, I break the law on occasion.
