Kettlebell Workship this weekend Feb 1

What: Kettlebell Workshop, Feb 1st (Sunday) 1-3 PM. $35

Where: Health & Performance Chiropractic, 228 SW 1st Ave PDX

Why: Good question. For good health, everybody needs strength, flexibility and endurance. Most cyclists have good endurance but do not spend adequate time on strength or flexibility work. Kettlebells are a fun and effective way to add total body functional strength in a relatively short workout. In addition, recovery from kettlebell workouts is quick, so it will not have a negative impact on your bike training. Most people intuitively know that they should be doing some sort of strength and core work, but aren't sure where to begin. This workshop is for anybody new to kettlebell and weight training, and want to start training safely and effectively.

You can register for the class online at:
www.hpchiro.com and navigate to the online booking calendar from the home page.

If you want to see some video of kettlebell example exercises, go to www.lancecoffel.com and click on the media page. Lance will be teaching the class.

Once you have attended the Kettlebell Workshop, you can attend the weekly kettlebell workouts at HPChiro, which are currently Wednesday nights and Friday mornings.
