I hadn't even noticed that XC racing has now picked up the worst aspect
of the road series - the ridiculously early start to the season. Let's
see - the cross worlds were just decided, winter's not even over, the
mountains are covered in snow and here we go with racing!
I'm sure that enough people will show up - simply because it's the first
race of the season - to make it a wonderful success. Then maybe next
year we can start the race season in January! Meanwhile, all we'll have
to do in August and September is have OBRA chat debates over why nobody
attends the summer races and all the promoters keep dropping their events.
I'm so excited...
