Looking to buy a road bike in the medium size range. I can ride a 53, but would prefer 55-56 ideally (I'm 5'10").
I prefer steel. I hope to find something with brifters if it's newish (i.e. in the last 15 years), but I think I can handle downtube shifters on the right bike (esp when it's part of a gruppo; can't mess with fate, right?).
I'm not planning on racing it or touring, just want something for longer sunny day rides come spring.
