Cherry Pie Update

Hey folks,

The Cherry Pie is filling up. We've got over 210 folks signed up now and usually hit 400 by race day. The Cat 5A field is full at 50. The 5B field is about half full. We will turn folks away on race day once we get 50, so sign up online. Online Registration will close Friday at noon, PST.

The weather looks like mid to low 50's and 30% chance of rain. We've got a storm moving through Wed-Thur, but should be gone by race day. Winds out of the south at 10 mph.

Make sure that your OBRA bib number and Team Name are correct on your registration when you pick up your numbers at registration check in. We are using our own bibs again this year to facilitate scoring the event, but we need your OBRA number (road bib #, not your license number by the barcode) to help OBRA get your results properly recorded in the database.

If you have time, setup your profile with SBO before you register for the race and you can update all this information there.

We will send out an update soon on the Women 1-2 and 3 situation.

Regards,

Fish

Just wanted to give you all a quick update on the race.

http://www.willamettevalleycycling.com/cherry_pie/cherry_pie.html

Entries are up to 340 right now. Online registration doesn't close until
5pm Saturday, but don't wait if you're racing in a field that could fill up
(Men 3, 4 and 5).

If you wait until race day, there's a $5 fee, so register online. It's
easier for both of us, and cheaper for you!

Please bring your OBRA license. You may leave your bib at home, but bring
your OBRA card.

Jamocha Jo's will open special for business in Adair Village on race day, so
swing by for some java on the west end of town just off of Hwy 99W.

See you Sunday!!

Hey folks,

I just checked the 10-day forecast, and for what it's worth, the weather looks awesome! Dry and in the low 50's for the CP weekend!

The first Cat 5 field is almost full.
Cat 4/5 40+ and 60+ is not far behind.
Tandems need an infusion, and Henry Abel has assured me he's got several committed.

When you register online, please enter your OBRA race number under "License". We're not using OBRA numbers, but we need your OBRA number so we can get your results easily integrated back into the OBRA Database.

If you register via mail-in, please include your e-mail address and OBRA # someplace (Leave the "Bib" field blank).

You will receive two tyvek bibs at the race. One goes horizontally over your left pocket. The other goes along your right side for the camera (finish line camera will be on your right). Wear both numbers.

You will need to sign the waiver when you arrive. We'll have them pre-printed for those who pre-register...all you need to do is show your OBRA License, sign the form and we'll give you your numbers.

OBRA will have two officials on site selling licenses. If you don't have your license, yet, wait until the race to buy it. Kenji's going out of town next week.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

We'll see you 2/15!
