A quick update in regards to the Cherry Blossom Cycling Classic. We are getting a ton of excitement generated for this first year event and look forward to show casing the tremendous spring courses they area has to offer. I wanted to let everyone know that we have two lodging partners with the event. The Comfort Inn in and Cousins Country Inn have both come on board as sponsors and look forward to hosting everyone. When you call to make reservations make sure that you let them know you are coming in for the race to receive the event discount and be eligible for rooms. We have a number of rooms reserved for the competitors but they will go fast. Each lodging partner will have results, communicates, and race info available at the front desk on a nightly basis and will be the first place we post the info. If you are coming in the night before we will have tech guides available for you to get a preliminary look before packet pickup as well. The Country Inn has a great restaurant at the hotel and offers rooms with kitchens in them. The Comfort Inn has a premier location in accessing all the race courses very quickly and efficiently compared to any other lodging property in The Dalles. Info is below.
