Im selling my 1999 Schwinn Homegrown Cross Country bike. $550 This 19 inch frame fits best folks 58 to 511. This was the last pro-quality bike Schwinn made. The ultra-light aluminum frame was made by Yeti. It was decked out with XTR v-brakes, XTR Derailers, an XT crank, and White Industries hubs. I recently added a 2004 Fox F80 fork. Bike is barely 23lbs. complete.
Why so cheap? The drive train is pretty worn. The bike shifts great and does not skip, but the chain and rear cassette have many miles on them. And the rear wheel has a bit of a hop.
I am willing to sell just the frame and fork for $400. Or even part it out piece by piece. This would make an excellent single speed project. Short-track MTB 09?
