Custom 26” MTB wheelset, like new, with Chris King “Classic” hubs, Stan’s ZTR 355 rims and DT Revolution spokes. These wheels are for v-brakes only. Black hubs, black rims, black spokes. Both wheels are 32 hole. Weight: 600 g. front, 769 g. rear, for a total of 1369 g.

This wheelset was built by a local wheel builder in Bend who does a great job. The King hubs are not new but were completely rebuilt for this wheelset, the only used looking part of them is the freehub body which is a little scarred from past cassettes, other than that the hubs are like new. The rims/spokes/nipples were new but there have been a couple commuter rides on the wheelset since then, basically just to test them out. They are light, stiff and true. They will make a terrific XC racing wheelset.

I initially setup the wheels with the yellow Stan’s spoke tape and “Olympic” valve stems for running tubeless with sealant. Using Schwalbe tires and sealant they were able to be easily mounted and aired up with a floor pump and maintained air pressure very well. Of course they can be run with tubes too.

I hate to let go of these wheels but I decided not to keep the hardtail/v-brake bike that I built up so don’t have a need for them.
