Did you race this weekend? How are you feeling? Anything tight? Sore? Fatigued? (Was it fun?)
Tonight (and every Monday night) the yoga classes at Seth Hosmer's HP Chiropractic are designed to promote active recovery... to gently coax those tired, sore, tense muscles like adductors, glutes and hamstrings into a deep state of relaxation. Guided deep diaghramatic breathing begins the class, followed by a brief but easy warmup starts the class, followed by seated floor poses to deeply but gently elongate muscles which tend to merely contract the more you ride. You train hard to race well, why not maximize your rest and recovery time?
Great for a rest or recovery day effort, this work is both preventative, addressing cycling-specific musculoskeletal imbalances and restorative, helping your body recovery lost flexibility and ease of movement.
Feel better on and off the bike!
Class runs 6-7:30pm. Please arrive a few minutes early.
Drop-Ins are fine.
