SPAM Etiquette

The only thing that really annoys me is when people fail to PUT "FS" OR
"For Sale" IN THE SUBJECT LINE.

Here's a clue for those without any - email filters only work when there
is a keyword. Please be courteous and use one.

Nope, this was a one and done sort of complaint.  Thought I would speak my mind and let it go after that.  No rules about how many times you can list something that I know of. Nor is there a rule about the stupidity or pettiness of the dialogue here. It is a small thing, It is not like I was offended by the constant attempts to sell an easton fork.

Oh yeah, but if they keep listing you can't keep complaining.

Is there a point when enough is enough of trying to sell the same one item?  Is trying to sell a cut easton fork 7 times in 16 days with the exact same message each time enough?

I know I sell a bunch of stuff here but so maybe this is the pot calling the kettle black, but I found that when one is selling something and there are no bites perhaps is time to change the bait, i.e., change what you are offering, lower the price or whatever.

I mean, the spam is not really hurting me as Yahoo doesn't have a mailbox limit anymore, but it just seems silly.

I know I sell a bunch of stuff here but so maybe this is the pot calling the kettle black, but I found that when one is selling something and there are no bites perhaps is time to change the bait, i.e., change what you are offering, lower the price or whatever.
