I wouldn't mind seeng a "I don't need a new set of road numbers"
option next year.

I've got plenty now, don't need any more.

It has also been the standard practice (actually required) at the OBRA
Team Time Trial since it's inception, that all 4 members wear the same
number. Hard to do if we don't allow the use of previous years numbers.

As long as you know that the current year and the previous year are the same
then we would not enact any penalty. You cannot assume that since you
renewed you automatically got the same number. You should have both sets in
hand.

andEnforcement

The message Candy sent out to the general list today regarding numbers,
sparked a question I have about the rule prohibiting use of previous year's
OBRA numbers.

At Sublimity, there were a few riders running a combination of 2009 and
prior year numbers in order to run two sets of numbers (one set of two on a
jersey and a second set of two on a vest or jacket). The instances I saw, it
was clear that the rider had a 2009 number, and a matching number from a
prior year, so there was no issue scoring or determining whether they had a
current OBRA license.

While this violates the rule as written, how aggressively should we be
enforcing this?
