Hi all,

Have no fear of that nasty winter weather out there. We’re guaranteeing spring conditions for Piece of Cake! Of course you know what spring in Oregon means........

Either way get prepared for The Piece of Cake road race on Sunday March 29th featuring the classic course at Woodland Washington for the 4th consecutive year. Flat, windy and fast! This year the prize payout is bigger then ever! $1500 to the top 10 senior Cat 1 and 2’s including a big $500 to the winner! If that’s not worth braving a few showers, I don’t know what is. The senior women split $400 to the top 5. Schwag and merchandise for all other categories plus boxes of cupcakes for all the winners! There’s sure to be lots of competition from the folks up north so better bring your mojo and your best teammates!

As before, this year’s race is a “wheels in, wheels out” event, so don’t forget to bring your spare wheel sets.

Also, please don’t forget to thank and patronize the sponsors of this year’s race. These are the people who keep bike racing alive in the Northwest.
