Hey Everyone,
Its less than two weeks until the 4th Annual Team Group Health Independence
Valley Road Race (IVRR) on March 28nd in Rochester WA. The course is 19.5
mile loop with a couple of hills that take you from valley to valley, has
some great rolling hills, and fast twisty farmland. Rumor has it that this
will be one of the hardest one day classics in WA and being 90 minutes away
from Seattle and Portland bragging rights are on the line. Online
registration is open through BikeReg.com. I encourage the Cat 5 Men, Cat 4
women, and Master C/Ds to preregister so you get a guaranteed starting
position since these fields have historically filled up.

- No warming up or down on the course.
- We are visitors of the community so be on your best behavior.
- Use the restroom not the bushes.
- No littering or tossing your bottle off in the sprint.
*Parking*
Parking may become limited and carpooling is strongly recommended. If
parking is full at Swede Hall you can park close to town, at the Rochester
High School, or Thurston County Community Center at Albany ST Ave SW and
183rd Ave SW. *NO PARKING at the Rochester Fire Station.* Also, if you
need to setup a tent park at Thurston County Community Center or Rochester
High School because space is limited.
I hope to see everyone at the race.
Thanks,
Erik
