Subject: [OBRA Women] Group rides?
Hi ladies,
I have recently moved partly to Portland and was wondering if there were any group rides (especially ladies, and afterwork hours weekdays) you could let me know about. I have bunch riding/racing experience and a decent road bike, and am excited to get a chance to ride with women as I was the only one in my last club in rural Australia! I am living in the NW/SW area, so rides from here are preferred as the traffic is still a bit daunting out eastside!
Otherwise would anyone be keen for riding about 5-5:30pmish (still gives us about 1.5hr daylight) M-Thur?
Thanks,
Roz

Subject: [OBRA Women] Cherry Blossom
Just a reminder - there's still time to register for the Cherry Blossom Classic - The weather has been BEAUTIFUL here lately, and it's going to be a really fun weekend to come out and race this very doable spring classic. Local businesses are gearing up to have open house events, wine tasting, and all in all a very festive atmosphere for the whole weekend. We have a ton of prizes for the women's fields, including gift certificates from Title Nine, and bonus primes for the crit, which is also a very safe, open 4 corner course downtown. We have really tried to make extra efforts to make this race appealing for women, so let me know if you are still sitting the fence, have any questions, suggestions, or need some help deciding whether or not to race!
Hope to see you in three weeks!
Judy
