Ron and Dorothy Strasser
The work day is not Saturday 21st, but Sunday March 22nd at 8:30AM-?. If you show and do not see anyone (bike types), check in at the house and let them know you are there to help clear the course for the race, then come looking for us. We will most likely be over toward the East camp area. Bring work gloves, water, snacks and dress for the weather and mud. They have been logging areas and even some of the road areas are a mess. I say a mess because the forecast is for some rain. If it is dry, it may not be too bad. Not to worry, the race will be a blast rain or shine. But we have work to do before race day. My phone number (at home) is 503-285-6356. Even if I am not around, you can leave a message letting me know your plans. You will not be able to contact me via cell. Any time you can offer will help and if not this Sunday, let us know if another time will work for you. It would be nice to know how many might show, so I can have an idea of tasks to undertake. If you do not know how to get there, google Horning's Hideout and get the map.
See ya,
ron

We are having a work party Saturday Morning to get ready for the Race in a couple of weeks.
Many hands make short work, so if anyone wants a sneak preview, and a chance to help Show up around 8:30 am Saturday March 20th,
Trail Boss Ron Strasser will be there leading the way. If a small army shows up the work will be done in no time at all. And then all that helped out can go for a ride to help break in the new parts.
We are also lining up people to volunteer for the Day of the race. Send me a note if you can give us a hand.
