Cherries, Bananas, Cakes…why are it spring racing always revolves around food?

Less than a week to go to the Piece of Cake road race! Remember, on line registration closes promptly at midnight Friday evening. Also, if you have pre-registered on-line, please be aware that you will still have to provide an OBRA release and check in on the day of the race. Save time by pre filling out the release form before race day by down loading a form from the OBRA website. www.obra.org/forms/#racer

We’ve got lots of great prizes on tap for the winners and don’t forget the cash payout for the Senior Men 1&2’s and the Senior Women 1,2,3’s. A big $1500 to the top 10 men and $400 to the top 5 women!! That includes $500 to the winning man!! Plus cupcakes!! The Washington crowd is sure to show up amass; let’s show them how Oregon racers do it!

Don’t forget to bring your spare wheels. The race will be a ‘wheels in – wheels out’ event.

The weather forecast for race is really looking up! We may have to water the roads just to make you feel at home.
