NORTHWEST CAMP:

Welcome! We are excited to have a USA Cycling development camp in Oregon.
You can find everything you need to know about the NW camp here. This
website will serve to give up to the minute information for the specific NW
Camp in Oregon. Please bookmark this site as it will update as event gets
closer!

2009 Athlete Development Camps - All details can be found on USA Cycling's
website. Including other locations of 2009
camps:

CAMP INFORMATION:

The purpose behind the USACycling Regional Development Camps is
multi-faceted. First and foremost it provides a development opportunity for
our younger riders. Over the course of the six day camp, participants will
practice skills that are specific to the camp discipline, enjoy
informational discussions about nutrition, bike mechanics, and training, and
take part in standardized field testing that is consistent with all of the
endurance-based camps (Road and MTB Cross Country).

The top-2 athletes in each camp will be nominated by the USA Cycling Athlete
Development Camp Coaching Staff to attend the USA Cycling National Talent
Identification Camp at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado
Springs, Colorado, October 15-19, 2009. Although this does not guarantee an
invitation to the National Talent Identification Camp, it does ensure that a
rider is on the right path to advancing through the USA Cycling Pipeline.
Further, many of the camps will be selecting riders to participate as
regional teams in national or international races like The Tour of the Red
River Gorge, Le Tour de l¹Abitibi, U.S. Cup, and the Yankee Clipper at
Windham Mountain.

COST:

Before April 30, 2009, individual registration is $700. After April 30,
2009, individual registration is $750 per participant.

As in previous
years, there will be a team discount for three or more team/club
participants that register together. The discounted rate for team
registration is $625 per participant until April 30, 2009. After April 30,
2009, the team discounted is $675. See below for team registration
information.
