Buying threaded C02 Cartridges cheaply

Biketiresdirect.com in Portland has 16g threaded cartridges for $1.79 each... or did yesterday, anyway.

I'm having a hard time paying $10 for two cartridges at the LBS if anyone has recommendations of how to get these a little cheaper any leads would be appreciated. I found this place in Minnesota that sells a box of 60 for $54 but was surprised that I can't find them anywhere else. Thanks for any leads and if I end of buying a box of 60 I may be posting looking to off load a few ;-) Please reply off list.
