Mt. Hood Cycling Classic

Paging All Women,

I need to hear from you if you are planning to participate in the 2009 Mt. Hood Cycling Classic. So far I have heard from two women who are planning to attend this year's event for the Pro 1-3 Women and a few more than that for the CAT 3/4 Women. Currently there is zero PRo 1-3 women signed up for the race. I know we are losing several teams due to a conflict with Nature Valley but I am trying to determine if there are enough interested participants to warrant running a Pro 1-3 women's field this year. Please let me know ASAP whether you and how many of your teamates plan to attend. We have an awesome event lined up this year with some really cool courses and hope you will join us. We also have $5000 in cash and merchandise earmarked for the Pro 1-3 women's field if we get a solid field of riders (60+). For the CAT 3/4 women we will definetly run an event in 2009 whether we have 5 riders or 50 riders. However the stonger the numbers the more solid the women's race becomes for future years. We hope to see you at the starting line!

For all the men's categories we have a great line up in place. Make sure you spread the word Hood is back for 2009. Do not wait to sign up we always fill a number of the categories and end up turning away riders. Register now to assure your spot.
