Fw: Bear Springs Trap XC good news

Will the Bear Springs Trap course route be the same as it was last year?
I won't have a chance to pre-ride this year, but I could do last year's loop by memory.

Obraland.... especially those interested in Bear Springs. RACE IS ON!
Looks like we have a race. If there is one thing I can say about Petr is he will work his fanny off to put on this race. So I say lets have a mountain bike race at Bear Springs and if anyone can help him that would be great. This is a course that always whips me good. A mountain bike race on a "mountain". Cosmic. Will I beat my personal record? Will you beat your personal record or make your first adventure over to the trap at Bear Springs.
I know. I know. I race for Team S&M (sponsor), but thanks Petr and Erik.

Ron Strasser and the world of OBRA chat: I'm sorry that Petr Kakes of Mt. Hood Ski Bowl and I have not been able to weigh in on the debate, but he was out of town for 2 weeks, and, without him, I did not have the feet on the ground necessary to give any accurate info. in regard to the status of the Bear Springs Trap XC course and venue. The good news is that the snow condition is not bad, and the race will be held as planned next weekend (April 25/26). Petr is, however, working very hard now and over the next few days to remove lots of down trees--they are more the problem than the snow. He welcomes any assistance!

I look forward to seeing you all at the race, among the state's finest cross country courses. It's pretty special, and I'm proud to sponsor the event. Thanks.
