Subject: [OBRA Chat] How does a cyclist get across the Columbia @ Hood River

Hello,

I am planning an early summer bicycle tour with the family and our preferred route has us crossing the Columbia River at Hood River (traveling from WA to OR).  It is my understanding that bicycles are not allowed (for good reason) on this narrow, grated, and windy bridge.

My question is: What other options are out there for a group of cyclist needing to cross over?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Brian

Brian
