I personally like the ride of Michelin Axial Carbon tires, if they
still make them. I believe that I managed to make a 25mm fit on at
least the front of my track bike, which makes the ride out at
alpenrose a little smoother. I hated the Michelin Axial Pro tires, as
they seemed less grippy, and more prone to wear and cuts. The price
wasn't too bad either. Of course, I don't see either of those on
their website anymore. Maybe somebody else knows of a good
replacement.
