I'm newbie and doing my first event in August. Desperately need to get on a bike and don't think my 1963 Schwinn is quite going to cut it. Really excited to start riding, though.
I'm not looking for an extremely competitive bike, just an older bike that needs a good home and will get me through the race (and the occasional trip to work).
Looking to spend about $200 or less (no laughing) but can totally be reasoned with. Anyone looking to unload their old bike?
