Hello Dirt lovers

Many adventures await this weekend at Bear Springs on 4/25 and 26

OBRA plates in effect.......bring them please

1st the ST on Saturday will test your legs as you go round and round to see
who has the snap to take the victory. A nice hill and some power is needed
to win for sure. Also this event you get points towards your individual
points race for the www.oregonxcseries.org
Check the page for up to date series standings and make sure to thank Ben
Thompson for his work......its a big task to track

2nd on Sunday is the Paul Thomasberg Designed course that is one of my
favorites! If you are looking for a great time on your bike and never ending
trails.......this is the one for you....BIG

Thanks Petr for chopping down trees and make sure to thank Petr for the work
that Petr does speaks volumes of the dedication to the sport we love.

Your top 10 overall results for the series will count towards your finish
including ST and the lowest finishing point totals will be tossed out if you
are a true weekend warrior and hit more than 10 including ST
All XC Races will count towards the Overall Team Finish and each race has
the same categories, so pick your race and support the sport

No Team Points will be awarded for the ST...only XC

The Team Race is one to be watched as Pistis has taken a good lead on second
place Capitol Subaru and Team S& M with 5 other teams on the hunt for
catching up to the 2nd and third place team. Word to the teams.......get
riders on your team to battle Pistis on their own turf.....get a Cat 3 and
Junior, and grow the sport. A well represented team with lots of every type
of rider will prevail as best team and great job Pistis on your lead. Its
early though.

*Critical team Reminder*
Final team rosters are do by Mudslinger on 5/3.......send them to me and I
will forward to Ben Thompson and make sure to write your team name down when
registering.

I will see all of you at the 21st Peak Sports Mudslinger on 5/3 for the
State Championships. This Sunday is my daughter Myka's 10th birthday and I
will be hanging with the family and getting ready for the throw down at the
Slinger.

See ya soon
Mike
