Hey,

THANKS!

Great times in the woods yesterday. results are posted......I have a few
changes to make them official, (send me any corrections) with a few DNF"S
that are not DNF's and so on, spelling ect. 276 racers for a traditional,
but 5-10 degree warmer Mudslinger. Carl Decker (Giant) outpaced Erik Tonkin
(TEam S & M/KONA) and Sean Babcock(Team S & M) by less than a minute,
smashing a 35x16 gear ( I think thats the gear, and it makes my knees hurt)
They traveled 24 miles and 3800 ft in 1:40 and change. Alice Pennington
(Veloforma) took the womens title over Sue Butler( MonavieCannondale.com)
and followeed by Karen DeWolf of Team Dirt and Tina Brubaker (Veloforma).
Riders traveled all over the forest with big climbs and slippery descents.
Finally people are starting to put on fenders and or a good front mud tire.

Great Day and muddy smiles. Pics are free for all entrants courtesy of
Mudslinger Events and Oregon Velo (Shane Young and Matt) they will be posted
soon.

Thanks to Starker Forests once again for incorporating recreation into
forest management. Also to the logging crew, do not know there names, but
they called and asked where I would like the yarder to be moved to not get
in the way as the course was next to a 50 acre unit on the course.....they
even cleared a part of the trail that had downed tree's.....super nice!

We raised over 800 for the local Blodgett-Summit Grange and thanks to all of
these great sponsors

Thanks guys for staying for the 1:15 minute raffle.......I always try to do
it in under an hr.
