Ahhhh, I think the point of the original poster was that the promoter should inform of conditions. I don't recall anyone saying that hard work wasn't done or that conditions need to be perfect.....

I'll second that. Petr and his crew did huge amount of work to the
course and what many people don't realize is that it was all
accomplished in just a handful of days.
My hats off to Petr for not even considering canceling the race.
