Why don't we stop all this non-sense. I think everybody is growing tired off all the comments here....The same crap happened when Banana belt was cancelled because there was snow on the roads and people broadcast there opinions some good and some bad for like the next week! It happened, everybody learned something lets move on!

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Respect... Or lack of
Here we go again... A weekly disagreement that turns into personal attacks and disrespectful comments.
Jason Shucker, it was smart of you to correct yourself and take back the 'with all due respect' part of your comment. You cannot respectfully call someone a douche.
Was Bear Springs an epic race? I think so. Was there a lot of snow? Yes. I probably ran more yesterday than the last 5 years put together. I'm no runner. But as I sit here tired and sore, I'm glad I raced yesterday. It was an accomplishment just to finish that race. We are lucky to have such diversity of terrain in this state. This week it was snow in the foothills, next week it'll be mud in the valley, and Pickett's will probably be hot & dusty.
With that being said though, I am once again disappointed by the comments of some people on this list.
I'm not sure how you can defend juniors by using foul language in a forum that they have access to. We need to remember that juniors access this list and read our posts.
I realize that not everyone feels the same way I do about this race, or even religion, or politics. But to blast someone on this list because of their opinion is not acceptable. I'm not one for an abundance of rules, but maybe it's time to bust out an 'acceptable use policy' for this list, and suspend people from the list that can't moderate themselves.
