Subject: [OBRA Chat] come race the mudslinger!

After my own “experience” of hike-a-biking for 30 miles at Bear Springs last Sunday, I will still be at the Mudslinger on Sunday.
You should, too!

Mike Ripley has done a great job informing OBRA about this race and subsequent conditions, so there shouldn’t be any surprises. I pre-rode the course last week, and can confidently vouch for him and Mudslinger events that this race will be awesome and super fun.

Please don’t let one race prevent you from getting out to different areas of Oregon and riding new or different trails! Until about mile 25 on Sunday, I was thrilled about the new, awesome trails I was able to ride at Mt Hood. Now that I’ve (partially) recovered, I realize that it was, for the most part, fun!

Mudslinger is held on private forest land, and is a gorgeous, scenic course! You don’t get to ride there every day!
Don’t let the Bear Springs experience discourage you from participating in other events!
