2009-05-01

Hello,

The weather 50 degree's at start time 10am, getting up to 60 or so
Rain....well I am putting the race on, so some, we have a gym to stay dry if
necessary and Blodgett is at about 500 ft so it clears quicker

Make sure to park off of the white line and not in front of anyones
driveway...please. We have a very special relationship with the school and
the Landowners and please be early
No parking at the Church, next to the school

The course

Super fun!, a couple of 2-4 mile climbs broken up with fast DH singletrack
and some doubletrack....
12 miles for the Cat 3's and 24 for all others

Front tire....HMMMM not sure, I always go with a bit more bite up front in
most conditions, and the course has good traction in most areas and
then....wo.....that was slick

Some roots, G-out water drainage ditches, gravel embedded singletrack, ups
and downs to tell stories for the season. One trail, upper shortcut .25 mile
of hike a bike, unless you are super strong

We will stage you by category, posted the am of the race

POST event raffle and awards at 2:30
Bread and pasta as well...no charge

Register day of 7-9 am in the gym
Please drive slow though Philomath.....speed trap

You can register the day before at Peak sports in Corvallis...20% off of
