WARNING...Velodrome repairs!

Hey track riders,

We're trying to get the Alpenrose Velodrome repaired for the 2009 season and we need your help.

Please be patient with us repairing the track. We haven't closed the track down completely except for the Track Clean-up Day and but a hour or so here and there since. Lately, I've just asked riders to stay in the sprinters lane or below the stayers line while repairs are being made above those points, and not closing the track to riding all together. We're trying to work around riders on the track.

We posted notification of the repairs on OBRA Chat, on a 3 foot sign entering the track, and flagged the repairs with colored ribbon. However, someone or people have still ridden through and over the repair on the top of corner 3 before it was ready/dry, not once but at least 4 times. What's the deal? The notifications should have been enough and the falling debris when ridden through the repair the first time should have been additional warning enough.

Now we're forced to repair the repair on the top of corner 3, just under the rail. When? Not sure.

Help, give us a break...
