WebCyclery Cascade ChainBreaker MTB Race, May 10th!

Please join us this weekend for the biggest and best mountain bike race in Central Oregon!

The 2009 Cascade ChainBreaker MTB Race takes place here in Bend, Oregon this Sunday May 10th (yes, that's our Mothers Day tradition).

On-line registration has been open and the pre-registrations have been pouring in, but please note that the price goes up tomorrow/tuesday, so best to sign up on-line or here at the shop today!

We started work on the course last Saturday clearing the many downed trees and the trails are in the best condition that we've seen in recent years! Our rainy spring has (for now) eliminated the usually dusty conditions that we see here often and the Bend area trails are yummy, tacky, and perfect right now! No mud and no snow to speak of, I can say that for sure! : )

NOTE: The ChainBreaker course is on private land. These are great single track trails that are used for this race once a year, and each year the ChainBreaker hopes to continue to treat you to some great Central Oregon riding that is only open during our race. PLEASE respect our arrangement with the land owners and do not pre-ride the course before Saturday May 9th. Thanks!

Come to Bend on friday and get in some Central Oregon riding on some of our local trails (the lower Phil's trails are open and snow free), pre-ride the marked ChainBreaker course Saturday, and pick up your race packet here at WebCyclery on Saturday afternoon from noon to 4PM.

Be one of the first 200 racers at packet pick up on Saturday and get free pint glasses from Park Tools and/or Deschutes Brewery, a free copy of DirtRag Magazine, free gels from Hammer Nutrition, and free candy from Red Vines and/or Sour Punch!

And we'll have free beer from Deschutes Brewery after the race!
