Fischer, Jim E (Corvallis)
OBRA land,
I'm posting this for Matt Martel as he is the contact person for the OBRA Team Time Trial champs this year. Matt may be reached at cyclematt@gmail.com.
Info on the TTT is posted online at:
www.willamettevalleycycling.com/team_time_trial/team_time_trial.html
The TTT is a fund raiser for the Pacific Power Blue Sky team. All proceeds go to the Team.
Registration is open both for snail-mail as well as online. Links are on the website along with all the stuff that is new for 2009.
Here are some highlights...
If you're considering a team in the 3s, you will be able to pull one member from a lower category as needed, but the majority of your team must be from the category in which you are registering. You may not pull higher cat riders.
In an attempt to reduce congestion on the course for the PM groups, we've moved Junior Men and Master 240+ men to the AM. We've also spread out some of the PM teams to avoid so much overlap.
The finish stretch of Country Rd. from Seward north to Tangent Dr. will be closed to vehicle traffic and you will have both lanes through the finish. Finishers will stay left, through traffic will stay right, and you'll need to count your own laps as we will NOT be using a lap board. (Everyone does 4 laps ~ 28 mi).
We will provide 4 of the same number for each team to use. Please bring your OBRA cards and note your OBRA road number on your race registration, but do not use your OBRA lycra bib numbers at the race.
Online Reg will close Friday (5/29) before the race. There is no race-day registration. One-day and annual licenses will be available for purchase. For Champ status, all team members must be annual OBRA members.
Medals and jerseys will be provided by OBRA.
Preliminary start times by category are posted at the link above.
We hope to see you there!
Thanks!
Jim Fischer
