Wow! What an amazing day for track racing at Alpenrose! We had 95
registrations, with 91 racers across 11 categories! Nothing but sunny skies
and fast racing conditions. Again we had one of the highest attended one-day
track racing events in Alpenrose history.

Because of your participation and generosity, it looks like after our
expenses are paid, we will be contributing approximately $2400 to the Eric
L. Kautzky Scholarship Fund at Tigard High School. This includes other
private donations in addition to the registration fees. So in the past 4
years we have donated approx $8000 to Eric's Fund. Scholarships are awarded
to a graduating senior from Tigard High who is pursuing a future in either
sports medicine or biology (both subjects Eric taught at Tigard for over 24
years). Lorna Kautzky was at the event yesterday and told me they will be
awarding scholarships next week to two graduating Tigard High School
seniors.

Thanks very much to our world-class OBRA officals (Luciano, Candi, Lisa,
Mindy), first aid support (Andrew), and our Team Rose City volunteers. And
