Subject: Mall Safety Week II starts 5/18

One week in advance of bus service returning to the Portland Mall,
TriMet Transit Police and Portland Police Traffic Division officers will
do another round of safety enforcement during morning and evening rush
hour May 18-22. With 18 bus lines returning to the Mall along 5th and
6th avenues, it's critical that motorists, cyclists and pedestrians
travel only in the left-side dedicated traffic lane and obey traffic
control signals. Violators will either receive a warning or a $242
citation for disobeying a traffic control device.

Bottom line: STAY LEFT AND FOLLOW TRAFFIC SIGNALS
