I dunno what Larch looks like, but the gate was closed and it was very cold a few weeks ago. I was thinking of heading up again Saturday morning to take another peek. Anyone care to join me? Meet at the Albina press at 7, leave 7:15.

I do not know the elevation, but when I drove to Bend for Chainbreaker this
past weekend, I was impressed with how much snow was still around in the
trees between the 3500-4500' levels. The next few days will impact that
(melt) a good deal. Creeks and then rivers will rise.
