A big thank you to all the tandem teams that came out last weekend for the Silverton Road Race! A total of eleven tandems lined up for the start, and I have to say that I've never personally been to a one day tandem race with such a strong field. It was awesome! And really tough.
There were a few new faces there and I'm hoping to see more of you this year. Join us all for another great race this weekend - on a slightly flatter course...
ROAD: OBRA REHEARSAL ROAD RACE, May 23 - Ranier, OR
The course is unchanged from 2008 and starts and finishes at the same Ranier High School that was used by Cross Crusade. A beautiful course with quite a few twists and climbs and long, sweeping downhills. The first half of the lap is gradually up. The second half is mostly down. This was my personal favorite tandem race of 2008.
