Mt. Hood Cycling Classic

Reminder to everyone to book there lodging now! Best Western Hood River Inn is were packet pickup and race headquarters will be located. They currently have only 6 rooms left in the entire hotel. Fortunately they are doubles. Be sure and tell them you are racing in the Mt. Hood Cycling Classic to get the premium rate and have access to the rooms. Their number is 541-386-2200. Cooper Spur Mountain Resort is an awesome getaway and a tremendous price. They have 3 big hot tubs that look out over the Hood River Valley at Mt. Adams and really neat rooms and resteraunt. They have two cabin/condos left and the log home (with its own private hot tub). Located on Mt. Hood's northern flanks it is so pretty up there and conveneintly located to the the finish of the two big mountain stages. It is the best value anywhere at around $30 a person a night if you fill the condo or cabin to capacity. You can contact them at 541.352.6692

Registration is going strong right now. We had a flood of entries in the last couple of days. I will input all the mail in registrations and then post the rider lists back up on Sports Base Online. We have a very strong pro men's field this year and a women's field that is somewhat open. Come on ladies this is some great racing to be had!
