Scammers trolling OBRA email list?

I got the same exact email for my WTB for my shimano pedals that I posted a couple weeks ago. It's the same wording exactly. I figured it was a scam and I had already found pedals anyway, so just ignored it. The wording is weird...and just looked fishy. Anything having to do with arranging payment by western union money transfer and all that is probably a scam.

People should just be on the lookout for this type of thing. It's unfortunate that it is showing up in the middle of OBRA land - where usually you can trust just about anyone with selling and buying stuff....

This is weird-- I'm not sure what to make of it. It's an apparent
response to a "WTB" message I sent to the OBRA mail list recently.

Run away from anyone who asks for Western Union or similar. Plus the terrible grammer is a dead giveaway. I bet he can hook you up with a Nigerian inheritance.
