Especially for 1/2 women at Mutual of Enumclaw this weekend. So far
16 1-2 women have signed up for Enumclaw, a race that pays 10 deep
for you with a prize package of $1060. Sixteen women at $65 entry
fee = $1040.
That's as opposed to 77 P,1,2 men for a $1620 purse. This race
pays well. Sure seems like we are risking our field and the great
payout by low attendance. Registration doesn't close until tonight.
Any ideas on how to get more women to show? Weather is going to be
great (for once) and for those of us looking at "bigger races" in the
coming weeks, this is a good race reminder/warm up.
