Hello,

I hope to see you for Kris Schamps 6 Hr race this sunday......great team
event, and Sellwood Cycles is a great shop to support and we would not be
where we are today without Shop Support at the races. I am diligently
clearing the TOE course and hope to be free to race at Skibowl.

After 8 Races in the 10 race series alot of Titles are coming down to the
last 2 events

We are tracking those that have raced 4 times or more and remember that
anyone who does the 7 and finishes 7 of 10 will place higher than any rider
only doing 6 or 5...ect

The team battle shows Team Dirt on top but with toss out races, Sunnyside
has the inside edge (and better team scores) to take the top spot and top
prize package from Yakima, Chris King, Rivercity, Continental, Hutchinson,
Ryders Eyewear, Io-Bio, ect

Giant XTC complete bike will be given out and a twist in the raffle will be
announced soon.......

Battling for third are Pistis, Webcyclery.com, Team S & M, Cyclepath

Prizes will be given to the top 3 teams to fight over among themselves.

Series awards/Champion Jerseys and Junior MTN Cup medals will be given out
at Picketts on 6/27, so if you are in contention please show up to Picketts
to be awarded your series award and get the respect you deserve

The half way point brings us to the last 6-7 races in the 2009 Rivercity
Oregon XC Series.

Pistis is leading the Team race with balance and skill, followed by Capitol
Subaru and Team S & M. Right after S & M is Sunnyside Sports breathing down
their necks.

I wanted to thank all of you who are competing each week and or getting new
faces to the races as we have seen a good jump in attendance from 2008.

Your best 10 finishes count towards the overall and each one of that puts on
the races, thanks you for your time and great attitudes.

The Next race is Picketts Charge in Bend....great race....great singletrack
and I hope to see you in Bend on 6/7.
