My son's basketball coach is looking to move form an MTB to a road bike for his 20 mile commute from Battle Ground into Vancouver. He doesn't know a lot about bikes and just started commuting this year. He is loving it so far, but would like to move to a road bike now. I'd like to help him find something suitable. He'd like to spend less than $1000 and preferably around $700. I don't it doesn't have to 10 speed or carbon or anything really new. Just in good shape and reliable. Or can be made reliable with some donated labor from me. Send me what you got!
