The 2009 Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge is now taking registrations for this year's event being held July 17-19.

New for the 2009 event will be a Women's Qualifier Race being held Friday evening and a Women's Madison being held Saturday.

Elite Men
For Elite Men competing in mass start events, Cat 1's are automatically qualified. All others will be required to ride the Men's Qualifier race Friday night. The number of spots available out of the qualifier race will depend on the number of preregistered Cat 1's. Cat 1s who do not register by Friday, July 17 will be allowed to race if space is available. Cat 1s are strongly encouraged to register early.

Women and Masters Men (40+)
Women and Masters riders Category 1/2 are automatically qualified for mass start events and do not need to ride the qualifier events Friday night. Depending on registration turnout, all others will be required to race a qualifier event Friday night.
