Does anyone have experience with removing the pedal body from the spindle? I
pulled the compression cap off and have removed the box nut, but it doesn't
seem like the body wants to slide off of the spindle. Is there something
else I need to remove or does it just thread off? What would be the easiest
way to do this from a workstand at home?

The short story is the rubber washer/ seal is not sitting in the pedal body
completely. Thus, I figure it is easier to remove the body, reseat the
washer, and then put the body back on. The pedals works fine, I just want it
to last a bit longer than 1 CX season.
