Track Question for the little people

There is a device that you can use that replaces the freehub with a mechanism that you can screw a fixed cog on but personally, as a 26 inch track wheel user, I would just build a set using regular track hubs. It is easy to buy hubs, rims and spokes. You don't have to buy complete wheel or boutique wheels. In fact, you can build something just as good a whole lot cheaper. If you are interested I have a set of 28 hole 26 inch hole tubular rims that I would sell you.

Subject: Re: [OBRA Chat] Track Question for the little people

Does anyone know if it is possible to convert a set of road wheels into a fixed/track wheelset?
I know it is on the front, but how about the rear, too?
And yes I also know fixed wheels are readily available, but there's not much out there in 650c.

Mike? Anybody??

Thanks!
