Hello all.  Just a quick line on how my trip is going.  I was really going for it on day 1&2 with 120 and 140 miles (tough by the way).  Then, yesterday I lost time in the mountains of BC, cought in a huge thunderstorm right at the summet of 5,000+feet.  It was 9+hours in the saddle but I just made 100 miles.  Today I climbed 20 miles to the tallest pass in BC they tell me.  I started at 5:45am and it took me a long time, several hours, and ice on the puddles on the top.  Chilly.  After 118 miles I had had more than enough so I rolled into the KOA for a hot shower.  I am the only one here!  I'll try for 100+ plus tomorrow so I can be near the entrance to Glacier National park.  However, I have learned that the pass has slides on it and I cannot go through.  I'll confirm that tomorrow and maybe take the south route.

I sure am loosing my freshness.  Today, I lost partial use of my left arm/hand due to nerve issues.  I have to reach over and shift with my other hand and can't pick things up, among other complications, including coordinating typing, so...
Best wishes to you all,
Chad
